Overview
If your current subscription plan no longer meets your needs, you can upgrade to a higher plan directly from BrightHub. Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged on a pro-rata basis for the remainder of your current billing period.
Before You Begin
- You must have Owner or Admin permissions to manage subscriptions.
- Have your payment method ready — an upgrade will result in an immediate charge for the pro-rata difference.
How to Upgrade Your Subscription
- Log in to BrightHub and go to Products from the left-hand navigation.
- Find the product subscription you want to upgrade.
- Click the three-dot menu on the subscription card and select Edit Subscription.
- On the Edit Subscription page, click Change next to your current plan.
- Review the available plans. Each plan shows the features included so you can compare them against your current plan.
- Click Upgrade under the plan you want to move to.
- Review the confirmation page — this shows your new recurring cost and the pro-rata amount due today based on the remaining days in your current billing period.
- Click Continue to confirm. Your plan is updated immediately.
✔ Tip: The pro-rata fee is calculated based on the price difference between your current and new plan, applied to the remaining days in your billing period. You only pay the difference, not the full new plan price.
⚠ Important: The recurring cost shown on the confirmation page does not include additional user licences if you have purchased them separately. Your total recurring charge may be higher.
