The typical workflow for producing Year End Accounts in BrightTax is:
- Create a Year End Accounts task for the client and assign the correct template.
- Enter the trial balance figures in the Extended Trial Balance.
- Make any adjusting journal entries required.
- Add officer data (director loans) and report signing information.
- Add any additional notes where required (FRS 102 1A template only).
- Run Check Accounts & Generate iXBRL Files.
- Review the finished accounts and send for client approval if required.
- Submit to Companies House directly from BrightTax.
- Link the accounts to the Corporation Tax return or send via BrightAP.
