Q: Can standard users see System Settings?
A: No. System Settings is only accessible to users with the Administrator permission ticked on their BrightTax user account.
Q: Is there a way to export a list of all users and their permissions?
A: Not directly from within BrightTax. You can view the full user list in System Settings > Users and manually note permissions, or contact support if you need a formal export for audit purposes.
Q: What is the difference between BrightTax System Settings and BrightHub?
A: BrightHub manages your organisation, subscription, billing, and who has access to BrightTax. BrightTax System Settings manages how users behave within BrightTax — permissions, filing access, credentials, and system configuration. See System Management Overview for a full comparison table.
